Player privacy notice

Updated 26 September 2026. LIGAPINAS and the assigned league Organizer use player information to register teams, check eligibility, record games, display verified sports results, and connect athletes with coaches and teammates.

Information collected

We collect a player’s name, team, jersey and sporting details, photo, birth date, place of residency, and the documents the Organizer requires. The sign-in email identifies who submitted the form. For players under 18, we ask a parent or guardian to submit the information and provide their name and email.

Who sees it

Player names, photos, teams, game statistics and a verification badge may be seen by signed-in LIGAPINAS users. The assigned Organizer alone can open birth certificates, proof of residency, full birth dates and residential information for verification. Coaches see whether required checks are complete; they do not receive document files. The player or submitting guardian can view their own private record.

Verification and changes

A blue badge means the required identity and residency details have been verified. A green badge means a previously verified player has a change awaiting Organizer review. Once verified, the name and birth date cannot be changed through the normal player workflow. A residency change requires new proof and is recorded in the player’s private history.

Storage and retention

Documents are stored privately while a registration or change is reviewed, then the uploaded proof is removed after approval or rejection. The verification result, consent record and relevant sports and residency history remain while needed to manage the player’s participation and requests. The assigned Organizer handles requests for access, correction, withdrawal or deletion, subject to records that must be retained for a valid reason.

Contact and your choices

Contact your Organizer using the email shown on your league profile or registration form. Signed-in players can also send a privacy request from their own profile. You may ask what data is held, request a correction, or request that processing or retention be reviewed. Questions about this notice may also be raised with the Organizer.
